What Type of Paint Should I use to Be able to Wipe my Walls? Answering a common Paint Question for Florida Homeowners

Paint comes in many kinds and sheen's. The sheen is the texture you choose for your paint. There are Flat/ Matte, Egg Shell/ Low Luster, Semi-Gloss, Satin, and Gloss.

Eggshell is considered one of the most affordable sheen with the ability to wipe your walls without ruining the paint.

If you have children or high traffic rooms, do not use Flat or Matte Paint! You will regret this because any bump or ding you may do to the painted areas will show. Touch-ups are always needed with Flat paint.

Using a Egg Shell or higher quality paint will make leaning the walls easy and safe.
